Elephant 6 Collective Show

i went to see the elephant 6 holiday show here in chicago months back. they showed mini-movies occasionally. one concerned progress and innovation.

they referenced the quote "necessity is the mother of invention". and these inventions are important and fullfil a need. so why add more to it? they proposed the idea that innovation is superfluous. the quote stuck with me--"innovation--the wayword son of necessity". i found it amusing and thought provoking.

also, the show was great.
